About Us

Welcome to Ignite

Ignite is the product of two women dedicated to providing a well-rounded fitness experience for all; one where clients can have their choice of classes, each one providing a true full body  workout.

While teaching together at a studio offering very specific types of fitness classes, these women  envisioned a space of their own that could offer it all; cycle, barre, yoga and more. Ignite IS that  studio! It is an inviting space with state-of-the-art equipment, talented instructors and a spa-like  atmosphere not found in large gyms. We even have an area for kids to “hang out’ while mom and dad get a workout in. With classes offered in barre, bounce, cycle, and yoga, Ignite is truly  the one-stop shop it set out to be.

The Ignite family is truly a diverse community, with members spanning all walks of life; age, occupation, gender, body type and race, all joining in a common goal of becoming a more fit  and physically healthier version of themselves while cheering each other on along the way. We invite you to join us for a class, then stay and become part of Ignite studio family.

Why Group Fitness

01.

Studies have shown a person works harder as a member of a group than they do when working alone. This phenomenon is called the Köhler effect, and it all comes down to the fact that no one wants to be the weakest link.

02.

Show up to a particular class and you just entered a room full of other people interested in that class, so there’s your ice breaker. Add in the rush of endorphins you get from exercising, and you’ve got a real chance to make friends with those around you.

03.

Work out with a group, and the motivation takes care of itself, as the instructor encourages you to keep moving.

04.

Those who exercise as a group report better mental, physical and emotional quality of life measures than solo exercisers.

05.

Between the upbeat music and the we’re-all-in-this-together atmosphere, group classes can provide a surge of positive energy.
